“I’ve been studying Russian on my own using songs, podcasts, children’s stories, YouTube videos, and more, and I’m happy with the progress I’ve made. I’m not the most motivated language student in the world and I neglect certain aspects of my language studies at times, but I always practice my listening and responding skills with Max’s content. Max’s videos are a big part of my success and I’m happy to see that he’s now started his podcast. I live in Moscow, which makes studying Russian easier for me than it might be for others, I’m in an immersive environment, but I don’t always have time to connect with locals. Max’s content on YouTube has helped me grow so much and I become more confident everyday when speaking with locals. Max’s content is always interesting and useful. He presents his material in a fun and relatable way that encourages me to continue studying Russian.
