S4 Ep16 Agnes Appiah- The Messenger of Hope and Triumph
Listen now
Description
Agnes Appiah is a multidisciplinary creative and entrepreneur. She is an outstanding emcee, voiceover artist, and spoken word artist. She hosts the Umami Conversations podcast and recently co-authored the book 55 Faces to raise awareness of women's role in social change and impact. Despite spending her first few decades in fear, she now uses her life experiences as a message of hope and triumph.  After the loss of her unborn son in 2019, she prioritized her mental health and no longer pleases others at the expense of her own well-being. Agnes' favorite quote is from Maya Angelou, "Still I Rise," and you can find her meditating or dancing to old school dancehall songs.  She is now a mother to a toddler and enjoys spending time in his presence as she learns about her new role as a mother.  Agnes is continually growing and building her brand.
