“Lauren Simmons was NOT the youngest trader and not the first African American woman on the NYSE. This kind of lazy reporting and fact checking dishonors that actual trailblazers who came way before her. The women both white and black who came before her had actual careers and worked there for more than a year unlike Lauren who used misinformation to push her to a media. These kind of stunts actually set minorities back vs pushing them forward.
