“I am saying all this in hopes that the show gets better. Myke has gone to podcasting full time and I am rooting for him. Here are my thoughts.
I really like the three hosts on this show and I think it can be an informative and entertaining Podcast. But…each time I listen I honestly can’t get through more than 30 minutes. I can’t believe sponsors find this worth their advertising dollar.
Episode 36 had about 5 minutes of talking about when their Apple Watch will ship, how they ordered, the status of the order. I don’t believe this is interesting to listeners. Is it?
There are way too many “in jokes”, tangents, off topic/no topic ramblings. I understand that the guys are trying to make it fun and loose but it is often painful to listen to. Can someone please start talking about something real and add some insight?
The show is best when they focus on a real topic and add opinion and their unique POVs: Myke as the not-very-techie but getting there, Stephen as the experienced Mac user, and Federico as the new world iPad power user.
Guys: I know you listen to ATP. Those guys have fun and entertain while very rarely getting off topic or rambling about. Please follow that lead and try to bring some focus to Connected.”
