Audrey Taylor, UAA Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies, whose research involves shorebirds, wildlife conservation, climate change and using citizen scientists as observers for data. The aim of the event is to highlight the various ways that wildlife are central to each person's work and how that work -- for data, scientific observation and nature writing—changes their relationship to the wild.
