“I don’t mind the “gen Z liberal quips” and they don’t feel out of place. The main character speaks like this from the beginning. I find the librarian and sheriff to be very obnoxious. The librarian doesn’t have a serious bone in his body which comes off sketchy at times & the transitions from accusations to anything else feel so quick. Like “you’re the bad guy!” to “so are you coming with me or what!?” from the main character. The sheriff shares so much info about investigations with people who were seemingly suspects ~moments~ before & even stops interviews as the tape messes up lol. Some people are required to repeat, and others are just free to go 😂 it doesn’t make any sense. Also the eps are short, so not sure that taking up minutes of someone singing or a song playing without any dialogue adds value.”
