Description
Starship Grissom.
Star Trek has a long history of encouraging young fans to take
an interest in the sciences; but here's a fan project that takes
that to the next level. Written by teachers, these fan films not
only take viewers on Star Trek adventures, they also teach actual
classroom lessons in science, math, art, and social studies.
In this episode of Continuing Mission, host Dennis Castello is
joined by Richard Wells, Christina Morris, and Keely Sanchez of
Starship Grissom to learn how they are bringing Star Trek into
education through unique productions that make use of the TOS sets
at Starbase Studios.
