Description
Jessica Horn is the Regional Director at the Ford Foundation office for East Africa, and previously the Director of Programmes at the African Women's Development Fund (AWDF). She has dedicated the past two decades of her professional life to the process of advancing justice, challenging inequalities, and building both the knowledge base and practice towards inclusive democracies—with women’s rights as a focal commitment—primarily in Africa.
In this episode, she gives insight into the African philanthropy landscape, feminist organising, and re-imaging philanthropy and development.
