Marwa El-Daly is a development practitioner, and social entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in programme, business development, and training. She is the founder of Waqfeyat al Maadi Community Foundation (WMCF), Egypt's first community foundation,  and recently established the Waqfeyat Misr Foundation. Marwa has also developed several curricula focusing on nonprofit management, philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship and lectures at the Public Policy and Administration Department at the American University in Cairo.  In this episode, she takes us through her work at the Waqfeyat al Maadi Community Foundation, Waqf (Arabic for endowment), and creating a movement of academics in philanthropy.
