“First off, I love your podcast. You are a well spoken, brilliant man and I really appreciate what you are putting out into this world. Kudos to you for taking a risk and having a discussion with someone that clearly doesn’t share your point of view. One thing that stuck with me though was Yousef’s description of Israel being a WHITE Jewish state and because Palestinians are not “white” and Jewish, they shouldn’t have to be governed by such a state and he tried to draw parallels to a black man in a white christian country/State. Israel is not a WHITE Jewish state. We have black Jews, brown Jews, Asian Jews etc….and muslims and christians who are Israeli citizens and not white more Jewish. This is an antisemtic trope that further pushes the narrative that Jews are originally “white” Eastern Europeans. I would have hoped you would have rebutted this point he was trying to make. Also when he told you to read up on the history of South African and apartheid, I wanted to sla him in the face for you. Forgive me for assuming, you, as a well educated black man, is well versed on the matter! So that truly got to me. I wonder if that upset you as well. Thanks for reading 🙏 Ariella”
