“Kevin, if your college picks represent the house, then you must be fronting the worst casino on the Strip. Like the one in Vegas Vacation where Clark and Cousin Eddie are down bad and playing “Guess a Number Between 1-10” against the dealer. I understand the game and am doing this for entertainment purposes only, but I find I’m only entertained WHEN I WIN. These plays aren’t even close.
I actually agree with your contrarian philosophy but think your warm-weather associates are steering you wrong. I suggest we stick with the Neighbor Nick approach and go with only the high-profile games that are painfully obvious public bait, although, to be fair, the Penn State and Auburn plays (which I liked) fit this and still lost. The public isn’t taking a meaningful stand on UAB-Navy or Baylor-BYU. They’re not moving the needle. I feel like we’re getting too cute here, but, yes, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Keep up the good work!”
