A fascinating experiment in video games
Alright, so, the show is young, but the concept is strong. Concept? Take an idea from the enthusiastic studio audience (that is, the internet) and fully develop that nugget of an idea into a beautiful, brilliant little game baby ready to take on the world and win the Royal Rumble of Videogames. I am not sure if this will be a regular part of the podcast or not (oh boy, do I hope it is), but in this first episode, they bring in someone who has not been privy to their design process and pitch the game to them and get a hypothetical review and feedback. It is a fun aspect that puts some hypothetical stakes to the whole process that, should you let yourself get into the episode, is the perfect conclusion. If you are into video games and video game related humor and have an hour to burn (which you totally do), give it a listen. Go in with eyes and ears open, but remember: Grandma wants it al dente: Grandma needs it al dente.
