Chappaquiddick overviews.
As a 62 yr old Boston born/raised catholic...this was a big deal story to us in 69. The Pod content was great, the delivery was great with an easy listen... to my ear. That said, I became re-angered at the re-broadcast of Ted Kennedy explaining months later. I became more angry at how gullible the nation was/is. Two salient takeaways, the found purse was never Fully explained, the added insight of “why” Kennedy took off the side road, to avoid sheriff alcohol test, was Extremely plausible to me. Who among us has not been impaired, seen a police car, and not panicked to some degree. That explains the wrong turn, the eventual accident. At NO Point....is the 8-10 hr delay explained. Adequately. The attempt to suggest, that Kennedy family tragedies earned Teddy a ...“Get out of Jail Free” card is insulting. At no point is “why” Mary Jo is really in vehicle, other than whitewash conjecture, presented. If this happened today, it would take 2-3 days for Kennedy resignation. His 30 yrs if service is an insult to our procedures process and intelligence. #shame
