“Brian Ibbott (the host) brings the show to air on average about 3 times a week and delivers an awesome collection of the best and most interesting cover songs around. Brian often has special shows, interviews (he has interviewed Howard Jones and The Polyphonic spree in the last year) and tributes to artists or albums. If you like good cover songs, there is no better podcast for you and I cannot rate the show highly enough. Brian has just celebrated 3 years of the show.
The show is now in (optional) enhanced AAC format and this is a very welcome addition as listening via i-tunes to a particular track, or scanning through the podcast is very easy.
Brian is usually joined by his wife Tina on the Sunday all request show to take part in a listener submitted music quiz. This is a really popular segment.
Brian Ibbott has a very warm and engaging manner and is very open and approachable. He clearly loves cover songs and podcasting and loves the interraction with fans.
The podcast website has the show archives to download, a searchable list of the covers played so far, links to other music podcasts Brian hosts and a very friendly and spam free forum section.
The best music podcast in the world in my opinion.”
