Literature teacher and talented crafter at your ear
I have been weekly listener for CraftLit for 8 years and can truly say that this is the best podcast to get to know classic literature in an extremely easy way. Heather teaches you all you need to know about the background, era, difficult or unusual words before playing two to three chapters from a book. This makes the books come to life. But there is more to CraftLit than just the book talk, Heather also shares her crafts with us: quilting, knitting, entangling, drawing…, but if you are not interested in those, she provides a time stamp, where the book talk begins. Perfect in every sense of the word!

I love CraftLit! I have been completely addicted to listening to audiobooks for years, and this is a way to combine my love of knitting and books. Heather does a great job of moderating the books and offering insights into the old classics at the same time. I eagerly await each episode.

I have so enjoyed listening to and actually getting a understanding of books that I know...Read full review »
