Great mix of culture and craft
I'm captured by Heather's sorry about Post-911 medical troubles and her insight into literature which is great to listen to while knitting. I'm really looking forward to the Frankenstein commentary.

I love the extra bits that Heather adds with each chapter/ episode. I never considered before how each book was written for its cultural audience. Besides the fantastic readings, Heather's talking points fill and enrich the text, and I look forward eagerly to each new chapter.

This show gives me everything I miss about taking english classes - the insights, the hidden jokes, the historical context - without any homework. I've been listening so long, that when I attended a talk Heather gave, it was like seeing an old friend. I recommend this show all the time.Read full review »

I feel as though Heather Ordover were a personal friend by now. I love the combination of craft news and literary discussion, as well as the sense of community which this podcast has developed. As Heather reminds us, CraftLit listeners are just better (and so is the podcast itself).
