Unbridled Trust
Francis Chan is beautifully messy working out his own relationship with God. What I value about when he speaks, is that it’s honest and gritty while diving into the uncomfortable and exquisite call of God. I don’t come to be fed, I have my own bible to feed myself, but I do appreciate being sharpened here. The messages are knit tight with scripture, like a warm hug that kind of stabs at the same time. It both feels good and hurts in the right way as God uses it to refine. So I appreciate being able to hear his own hunger for God, the fear and adoration that comes with true reverence. It feels like listening to someone else who truly knows Jesus; a son who has unbridled himself from the Christian pretty that becomes the “christian” version of the worlds success. It’s bible based, but soaking in love, while also not skirting around what God says and actually asks of us….everything. Thank you Crazy Love, relationship with God really is that. I never feel like I’m hearing a performance or something intending to get more personal followers, but rather true followers of Christ. God bless you with wisdom, discernment and hope always.
