We all long for community, a connection that goes far beyond what we understand. But as beings who were created to connect, this placed seemed the most special since the shutdown. Yes, the pandemic. I must say my heart leaped for joy. I knew this was home, a special place to immerse myself in His presence. The K.I.S.S. ~Immerse yourself in His presence! What has this season done for your heart? Or maybe I should say against your heart? For most, it's been a time to indulge yourself within convenience. But what about immersing yourself in His presence? Did you really make time to allow Him into your chaos, change, and confusion? There I stood in the sanctuary raising my voice singing praises with a heart of worship. Oh, how I felt so different. Even though my walks include times of praise and worship, nothing compared to this moment. How great thou art! I was consumed by His presence. Everything else melted away. And in that moment, I wondered if my voice of praise was enough? Enough because He always found a way. God never abandoned me. Yet, I was the one who complained about so much. Why did God make a way for you and me? Because He first loved us. God made a way. So why do you still keep fighting for what’s not yours to fight for? Why can't you see what He took away as a blessing? Why do you still question when every day He blesses you even when you don’t deserve it? God catches you when you fall. He performs miracles when your heart is torn. He's caused walls to fall. God picks up the pieces when you're too weak to stand. He carries you when no one else will. God chose you! You are chosen, my friend. Will you choose to immerse yourself in His presence? Will you give Him the opportunity to love you? New life is spoken. Strongholds are broken. Hope is alive! "Be present.
