Have you ever read the Psalms and felt like they took the words from the depths of your heart? Many of them are words filled with pain and suffering, and other times they are words full of joy and thanksgiving. As we'll explore today, there are a particular set of Psalms known as laments and they make up a significant amount of them.  The question is, what is their purpose?
