Description
To understand the origin of sin is to understand the origin of shame. As we see in the garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve ate of the fruit that they were prohibited from eating, their eyes "were opened, and they knew that they were naked." This led them to "hide" themselves from God's presence when they heard Him walking in the garden." And why did they hide? They experienced shame--knowing what it meant to be fully known but in a sinful state.  Tune in today as Pastor Mike and I discuss the following difficult questions: - How does the Bible define shame?, - How does shame impact our relationship with God and others, - Can shame be used as a means to draw is closer to Christ?, and - What advice can be given to cherished who are currently struggling with shame?
