Ever wandered what the creative process is behind the films, tv shows and theatre productions you watch? Well, Crew Chats is a podcast going behind the scenes and chatting to the crew that help make these productions. Hats, Hats, Hats!! For episode 55, earlier this summer, I spoke to milliner Claire Strickland about her unusual route to millinery, constantly learning, as well as the exhibition Claire has curated. Titled, ‘Showtime for Hats’, opening on the 4th September and running until 28th October at the Hat Works in Luton, it will be showcasing the work of 18 milliners from the British Hat Guild, with pieces from TV, theatre, film, and opera. Where: The Hat Works, Luton (2 mins from the station, 35 mins from Kings Cross) Exhibition opens 4th September – 28th October Monday – Friday and open all Saturdays in October.
