Sometimes good, sometimes Painful
This podcast has me conflicting. I really want it to work but it depends who’s on the show. Manners is a outstanding broadcaster and recognised globally, McKenna is excellent and multi-format, Mark Nicholas is brilliant, Jon Norman has lots of enthusiasm but lacks knowledge and expertise. My biggest issue is Steve Harmison struggles to string sentences together. He was a whole hearted bowler and gave his all but he’s not a broadcaster. With a plethora of cricket podcasts around (TMS, Widen, Final Word, ESPN Cricket) this just doesn’t meet the standard.

Always great to listen to George Dobell as he actually cares for the county game. If you listen to the end, you get to hear them work out who’s working where for the upcoming Championship games.
