I get irritated by crime shows/podcasts like these sometimes. It’s obvious when they’re making up small details to enrich the storytelling, which I think is bad reporting and causes them to lose credibility. For example, in one episode they say how the woman walks into the venue and realizes she’s the best looking woman in the room and that her husband looks good in his tux but he’s not good on his feet. It doesn’t appear that either of these things are direct quotes from her, but opinions attributed to her to make the story sound better. I find it extremely annoying but these aren’t exactly the Truman capote genre of podcasts.
