another winner from Obsessed Network
This podcast is more historic and journalistic in nature than some of the other True Crime podcasts, particularly from this network (which I adore). She does an excellent and thorough job of telling the story but more importantly what the cultural implications are. For example, the first story describes how antisemitism, lack of child labor laws and post civil war attitudes contributed to the crime and aftermath. She does a great job of situating the crime within in its cultural context in other words.

So far so good! I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts and this is my favorite type- a well spoken narrator telling a thoroughly researched and fascinating story. It's just getting started and I'm really keeping my fingers crossed it ends up having a long run.Read full review »
