“Recommendation: I have been wanting you guys to pick Candyland as a setting since the beginning. I envision a Willy Wonka’s factory world. Rivers of milk chocolate, gummy sharks, molten hard candy lava, etc. Plus evil characters could be sour or salty creatures or even worse.... vegetables.
The show is very interesting, and each campaign is different. Even if you aren’t into the plot for one campaign, the next will be different.
My husband and I have been listening to the podcast for a long time. We blew through the first few campaigns on road trips, and we were devastated when we finally caught up. We now save them up to listen to multiple podcasts on longer car rides.
Plus the podcast got me into DND. I’ve now started playing a campaign with my in-laws. It was a great way to learn about what a DND game looks like without too much pressure about following the rules perfectly.”
