…Forrr one-uh of the hosts-uh over-uh enunciating-uh theeee last-uh syllable of each-uh one of the words-uh in evvvvvvery sentence-uh. It’s gratingggg and makes-uh me turn-uh off the podcast-uhhh.

Le Carre did write a Trump/post-Brexit/Europe spying on the UK book. Agent Running In The Field. It’s a good one! The intro with the story of how Vincent was “Ripley-ed” was insufferable. And it took forever. The constant noisy interference of his adoring female cohosts was pathetic.
