“I’ve listened to every episode since discovering the pod and I think they’ve started to lose their way since “going full time”. They seem to frequently mention the loss of income from her quitting her job and doing this full time. They also seem to go on rants about turnings that don’t matter, like checking in/out towels. Sure on the fancy lines they may not check out towels, but you’ve also paid a lot more for that experience. Most people don’t care about the minuscule amount of time and effort to get new towels. I wish they would go back to the before times and just share valuable information and stop reminding us that they may be making less money. Obviously, they are able to survive since they probably wouldn’t have gone full time otherwise.
09/25/2024 Update - It’s time for me to leave this podcast. Today’s episode (09/25/2024) is terrible. It’s hard for me to believe that Doug does one podcast much less two. I’ve been on several Disney cruises and much of what he is complaining about, like the fish extenders, is not even done by the cruise line. He also talks about the dining and says you don’t go to the same table and wait staff, which is misleading at best since you do change restaurants but your wait staff also move with you. People also need to stop bringing up the included soft drinks in Disney. Sure, they are included, but you cannot use that as a justification for cruising in Disney. It’s a very minuscule perk.”
