Work on the comedy-to-content ratio
I’ve been listening to this podcast pretty much since it started. I enjoy learning about the cults they discuss, it’s a fun way to make the drive to work less monotonous. That said, lately I’ve had to keep a finger on the fast-forward button because the podcast becomes SO frequently derailed. I get that it’s comedy and I appreciate some jokes but the balance is totally off. If Mando made 25% of the jokes he makes, the podcast would still be funny and wouldn’t be nearly as tough to get through. The comedy to content ratio is ridiculous and really takes away from what would otherwise be a 5-Star podcast. The jokes themselves rarely even feel worth the derailing. Please try to bring the comedy-content ratio at least to 1:1 (though it should be even less than that) so I don’t have to skip through half the episode. Sometimes the tangents aren’t even jokes at all. I just fast-forwarded through a 3-minute-long tangent about leaving the stove on. I kept hitting play and couldn’t believe it was still going. It’s irritating and I’m not sure how much longer I can take it.
