The topics I didn’t even know I wanted to learn about!
I stumbled on this podcast when Shalise was a guest on another podcast I occasionally listen to. I’m not particularly drawn to the topic, but Shalise’s intelligent, kind, nonjudgmental interview approach makes every episode engaging and interesting. She’s able to draw out the raw honesty of her guests because she offers them a safe space to tell their stories. She has enlightened me to the psychological aspect of high demand religions. I particularly love episodes about religions I’m peripherally aware of but had no idea the depths of their beliefs and the culture of manipulation. Shalise has earned a true fan in me.
