Cutthroat inc
Great show. smartly written and produced, with a wonderful slow burn to the suspense. Very ominous and you know something horrible is just around the corner, but not exactly what. I had seen the version on 20/20 and live getting to learn so much more here. Texture and atmosphere that really flesh out the world of the characters. Matt Gutman is the perfect narrator host - a great even keeled voice that really exploits all the drama just vocally. It’s smart, and do is his narration. A very unusual tale that takes you into some fairly rarified worlds, but makes them completely understandable. And the real life interviews are perfectly woven into the fabric of the whole thing. Highly recommended as a true crime story that’s about a lot more than just another garden variety psychopath.

This is a very well delivered podcast but if you are tired of waiting for the story to unfold Dateline ran this story on their podcast under the title In a lonely place - update (6Dec19). This podcast has interview that aren’t given in the Dateline story.

So far so good, although the whole show is not completed. Any word????? Would give a better rating if completed.

Kudos to Matt Gutman and the entire team for this excellent podcast. Thorough reporting and masterful storytelling combined to create an intriguing series. Even though I lived various aspects of this story, I still learned quite a few new things along the way. It was definitely worth the wait!
