Philippians 2:1-5
If there be therefore any consolation (calling, summons) in (resting within) Christ, if any comfort (stimulating force) of love, if any fellowship (Participating, partaking, sharing, communion) of the Spirit (spiritual feelings or desires), if any bowels (inward parts) and mercies (pity or compassion),
Fulfil (Complete) ye my joy, that (in order that) ye be likeminded (think the same), having the same love, being of one accord (unity of life and love), of one mind (minding the same thing).
Let nothing (not one thing) be done through (according to) strife (works for ambition) or vainglory (empty as to glory); but in lowliness (humility) of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Philippians 2:12-15
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out (effect or achieve) your own salvation (safety or preservation) with fear and trembling.
For it is God which worketh (to form by labor) in you both to will (the emotional will to do) and to (work) do of his good pleasure (desire).
Do all things without murmurings (self uttering in a low and private voice/manifest discontent) and disputings:
That ye may be (become) blameless (not open o criticism) and harmless (unmixed or pure), the sons of God, without rebuke (blemish), in the midst of a crooked (bent sideways from dryness) and perverse (distortion or twist) nation (generation), among whom ye shine as lights in the world (kosmos);
Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
