Listen now
Description
News outlets have begun quitting X, formerly Twitter, over accusations that the platform enables the spread of disinformation under its owner Elon Musk. Sweden’s newspaper of reference, the left-liberal Dagens Nyheter (DN), joins Spain’s Vanguardia and Britain’s centre-left daily The Guardian as the third media outlet to stop posting content on the platform. Hairianto Diman and Susan Ng speak to Nicholas Fang, Managing Director, Black Dot Research, to discover the significance of such a move for authentic news sites, and the impact it has on the platform.
