The Israeli government has tight control over the news narrative. Journalists are unable to operate independently. And what Israelis see on their screens is often a distorted version of the war, one that amplifies Israeli victimhood and silences Palestinian suffering.
Russia has launched another missile attack on the Ukrainian port city of Odesa. Some buildings in the central suburbs were damaged. Another attack has also been reported in the city of Kharkiv near the border with Russia, injuring 19 people.
