Your Dance Quest (It’s NOT About The Dancing)
Listen now
Description
This is my philosophy on dance and its deep intrinsic value beyond cliche mediocre artistic words. DANCE IS NOT A JOURNEY AND LIFE IS NOT A JOURNEY. YOU ARE ON A QUEST. What type of quest...AH, that is the story we need to explore together [WATCH NOW]. In a world where uncertainty is rife and the unknown is the dark abyss we are all starring at wondering what is inside THAT cave well, my friend, that is precisely our opportunity and it is exactly part of the dancer's quest. Dancing saved me and I am grateful every day, even when I am in a hard place, that I have something that pushes me to be better. What I am talking about is nothing to do with getting better at footwork this is about how you get the best version of yourself every single day. You THINK you want more lessons, you want more life. You THINK you want to dance better, what you're really asking is a fuller expression of you. You THINK you fear others judging you, you are masquerading stepping into your highest self and digging to bring the very best version of yourself to the surface every day. You cannot explain what dancing feels like or why it's so good but we know that it is doing something far deeper than simply getting fitter, doing a medal or winning a competition.
