Another compelling & thoughtful podcast from Tortoise
If it can happen to these families, it can happen to anyone. Their experiences are shared respectfully and thoughtfully in this podcast. People working with vulnerable people should be regulated. It’s shocking how easy it is for any individual to gain unchecked access to those in need. Tortoise podcasts are amongst the very best. I was confused as to why only the BACP directory gets a mention as a place to find accredited therapists — there are additional and equally professional registers of therapists who are rigorously trained and abide by the highest and strictest standards in the field of psychotherapy and/or counselling eg UKCP and the BPC. It gave the impression that only the BACP can be trusted, which is not the case.

More reviews of Dangerous Memories
Kept my attention throughout. What really happened to Anne in her own life that caused her to create such damaging alternative realities? How did she manage to keep her grip over such a long period? An interesting and salutary lesson to ensure any therapist is properly accredited.
