“Wow! An amazing regurgitation of The Guardian newspapers’ mixture of conspiracy theories with smatterings of Julian Assange, the Russians, Donald Trump and other nonsense peddled by the collection of conspiracy loonies. How disappointing that there was no attempt to understand and analyse the serious and justifiable concerns of UK citizens over the transfer of the sovereign powers of our Parliament to Brussels and Strasbourg, without our consent, and the supremacy of the European Court over UK courts, something that would never be acceptable to US citizens. Although we are subject to the same inflationary pressures as every other western country as a result of the conflict in Ukraine we have experienced record low levels of unemployment, highest growth of any G7 country and house prices that have increased by up to 50% (!) since 2016, yet the same lazy tropes were repeated that Brexit has been an ‘economic disaster’ even though the opposite is true and no serious evidence was given to back up this nonsense on stilts.”
