Interview style
Just listening for the first time tonight because I was intrigued by the concept. But the interviewer constantly interrupts the guest—to the point where it’s painful to listen to. Let her tell the story, for heaven’s sake. Give her time, let her get thru two sentences! Every time it seemed like the guest was going to open up and get deeper into her story, the interviewer would stop her with inane comments. Please, listen to yourself conduct these interviews and try to understand that we’re on the other side of your podcast—actually trying to listen.
