Session - Movie Workshop - Saturday Evening at the Barcelona Retreat with David Hoffmeister This movie workshop reminds us that our desire to open to the light and remember God is activated by our hearts' prayer. A Course in Miracles teaches that truth will be returned to us by our desire, just as it was lost by our desire for something else. The Holy Spirit, described in the Bible as the Comforter, is our bridge back to love and oneness. The movie symbolizes the journey from darkness to light, where the ego throws up distractions to divert us from following our intuition. However, through prayer and desire, we can overcome these distractions and achieve the light. The ego's advice to figure things out is unnecessary, as everything is internal. With a strong prayer in our hearts, we can overcome external obstacles and experience the light of God.
