“Sam and Dean were the first two football journalists I started following after making the wretched decision to become a Spurs supporter in my early teens back in South Africa. I’ve now hopped across the ocean to the US and continue to listen to and love all they have to say. Sam reminds me of a best friend back home: tall, clever, a tad awkward and never a step away from an injury. Despite some dodgy opinions about Chicago-style pizza, I can’t help but love everything else that Dean has to say, especially the genuine and repeated moments of total surprise when it’s revealed just how much of the beautiful game that the other two watch.
It took me a while to get on board with Jack. I used to skip over what he has to say, but have slowly come to realize that that was a great silliness. Poems and things he loves, I listen to all Jack has to say. Even if Dortmund do manage to break it, my ever-lasting adoration for Jack is firmly in the bag.
Ranks FC are the thing I love every week.”
