“I adored this show as a kid. I had the Pizza Hut VHS tapes. I had two SLP VHS tapes of shows recorded on Saturday mornings. As an adult, I understand that continuing to have the same reverence for this show would be absolutely ridiculous, and I’m thankful that this podcast doesn’t sugarcoat the shortcomings of both the source material and the adaptations thereof, all in favor of nostalgia. I have yet to get out of X-Men TAS proper (mostly because I’ve spent a lot of time listening to all the other Duckfeed content, WHICH YOU SHOULD DO), but I’ve no doubt everything else that has been and will be covered by Jeremy and Gary with the same balance of praise and ridicule that this stuff deserves.”
