“I needed to get off the never-ending global news cycle and conspiracies that was depressing the hell out of me. I knew Ben Eller from his Youtube Videos and Instagram and saw his post about this podcast.
When I first started, I thought Hollywood Steve & Uncle Ben would just get into the movie review but the meandered in and out of numerous subjects of beer/ale/larger reviews, life stories, pure silliness, psychology, life lessons, Serial Killer History as they weave in and out of the movie review with amazing movie background knowledge with an assessment angles I never expected.
At first I thought “What the hell is this crap?” and “Get to the matter at hand! THE MOVIE!”
After a few podcasts, I have to admit that I found myself looking forward to the chit chat and always curious where Steve & Ben will take me today in their banter. The more I listened the more I now look forward to their podcasts as a journey more than the destination.
Its a calming and entertaining listen as well as educating.
