“I’ve been looking for a good horror movie podcast to get in a spooky mood for Halloween. I browsed around and listened to a few different ones that were all okay but had pretty shallow discussions that basically recapped the plot of the movies. I gave D&L a shot and was a little turned off by how long it took them to get to the movie discussion (almost an hour) in the episode I listened to. But once they started talking about the actual film I had a joy listening to their analysis. They do their research on each movie and give you a new appreciation for it—whether it’s behind the scenes of how the movie was made or deeper themes in the story. This is exactly what I was looking for. Such fun guys to listen to. Their upbeat nature and positive attitudes are infectious and put me in a good mood any time I listen. I’m steadily making my way through the back log of older episodes. So glad I found this one!”
