Serendipity…
Hi Connor, Serendipity led me to your podcast ~ insomnia {and feeling too ill to do much else} had me searching on the ‘CBC Listen’ app for something to keep me entertained, distracted from feeling down, or lull me to sleep. Dead Eyes was recommended on ‘Podcast Playlist’, after 4 hours of radio shows. Forgive me, but I went right to Ep. 31; it was the one that was mentioned, & I needed immediate gratification. And boy, did I get it. Thank you! I also got much-needed reminders about silver linings, perspective shifts, and the joy of serendipity {aka “good” luck}. The thing I really needed to hear {and be reminded of} is that what appears to be “bad” luck can turn out for the best. The words I hope to recall the next time I forget that wisdom is: “It was the worst thing that happened, and the best thing that happened.” I’m now subscribed and will listen to the other episodes, after some sleep. Happy New Year, all the best in 2023. Cheers, Suzy {in Vancouver, Canada}

I recommend this podcast to any actor. What I love about this rabbit hole is how honest, raw, and real it is. Actors are often fed lies so the truth is so refreshing. The host clearly took time to map this out and produce it well. Well done.

While the concept is hilarious and you spend most episodes laughing, it is a super relatable and touching story. Many actors will relate! Host is touchingly vulnerable in a way I haven’t found in other podcasts.
