“Episode 1 definitely caught my attention and pulled me in, but there was one glaring issue that annoyed me throughout the episode.
Locals repeatedly pronounced the town name of Wilkes-Barre, PA “correctly,” i.e. the way that the locals pronounce it (with a long e on the end.) The narrator insisted on continuing to mispronounce it. This is disrespectful and really distracting as a listener.
I want to keep listening and I really want to love this podcast. Please do some basic research on the towns you are visiting before recording for future episodes. These details actually do matter.”
