Great story, but poor storytelling
The hosts have an amazing story to tell, but I wish they would have turned it over, or at least partnered with some professional investigators and podcasters. They repeat information constantly, waste time with unimportant information, have poor sound editing, and cannot tell a story no matter how hard they try. It seems selfish to be sitting on a whopper of an investigation and not bring in some experts to do it justice. I get the impression that they knew this was an interesting story and wanted to be the only ones to bring it to life, which in turn, is blowing it. If they want to be amateur it detectives, fine. But, find some experts to help you investigate AND create a decent podcast. Otherwise, just go have fun sleuthing and leave the podcasting to the pros.

There’s a difference between sidebars that contribute to a story and offer background, and irrelevant banter that should’ve been cut. I feel like what the have in three episodes could’ve been condensed into one had they eliminated the pointless chatter.

Hoping the investigative journalism takes over the inane fluff. Has the makings of a fantastic podcast if it’s delivered with a little more focus. Going to leave this until all episodes have dropped so I can fas forward through the ‘nothing’ stuff.
