“The podcast host is not local to the area and it feels like they didn’t do even the most cursory of background research on the area. Episode two paints the area they are exploring and Buffalo as a whole as a hotbed of crime and despair which couldn’t be further from the truth. She also describes people of Buffalo as NYer’s. NYC is nowhere near Buffalo and Buffalo is nothing like NYC. It makes me question the accuracy of their investigation into the actual crime as they got so much wrong on the actual location.”
