Gave it a shot
We were relatively unimpressed with this one. Interesting premise but the execution is messy. It is hard to track who is talking about what, and which person is being referred to. The audio quality is variable and difficult to listen to in a car. The first episodes feel highly self-referential in regards to their other podcast. About 10-15 minutes could be shaved off the episodes - especially with the inane rambling about location (like the TripAdvisor-esque review about a hotel in episode two) or the narrator feeling the need to tell us every time she likes someone. Finally, the tone and commentary about Buffalo as a city comes across as pejorative and condescending. I’d skip this podcast entirely.

More reviews of Deadly Diocese
There’s a difference between sidebars that contribute to a story and offer background, and irrelevant banter that should’ve been cut. I feel like what the have in three episodes could’ve been condensed into one had they eliminated the pointless chatter.
