Thank you
I can’t explain how much I identified with Alana’s words and feelings she described. She was able to articulate things I still struggle to articulate as a 39 year old who came out at 16. I appreciate this podcast and Joyce and the family’s willingness to let us look into Alana’s life. I struggle to know what to write, so I will just say thank you from the bottom of my heart!

More reviews of Dear Alana,
This podcast touched my heart in a way no other has. It was heartbreaking and oh so familiar. I feel honored to know Alana’s story and want to thank the host and family members/friends for taking such care telling it.

A tough but important listen. The creators did a good deal of thorough research to present the subject with the detail it deserves. I hope Alana’s story can help others with similar struggles. Great musical score as well.

Heartbreaking, haunting, infuriating - yet beautiful to hear the unconditional love and support of friends and family...Read full review »
