Simon Kent Fung has delivered a compelling podcast that tells Alana’s story in a way that avoids the all-too-easy temptation to reduce complex human lives into neat ideological narratives. It’s a story about people who have been badly hurt, told not with resentment, but with peace, conviction, and a deeply-felt tenderness. A must-listen.

This is a story that needs to be told. Hearing Alana’s mother reading her journal entry was so touching, I feel like so many will relate to this story. Looking forward to the release of this show.
