Mispronouncing names and creating unnecessary drama
I couldn’t get past the start of EP1. Elise’s surname is mispronounced repeatedly. As other reviewers have observed, there isn’t anything that bizarre about Western tourists dying on an island well known for partying. It’s awful and deeply sad but I don’t believe that it’s the mystery it’s being made out to be. I say this as a Westerner who used to live in Phuket and who has done substantial reading on the deaths. Unfortunately, I’m filing this podcast under “loss exploited for entertainment.”

Their advertisers should be upset everyone fast forwards and doesn’t even hear their ads because the amount is...Read full review »
